Sales Adminstrator
LOCATION: Bangalore (Hybrid)
As Sales Administrator you will support the sales team in processing orders, managing customer data, and ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of sales operations. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to ensure all sales processes are handled efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the system. Monitor order status and communicate updates to customers and the sales team.
- Customer Support: Provide administrative support to customers, including responding to inquiries, handling complaints, and resolving issues related to orders or accounts.
- Data Entry & Management: Maintain and update customer databases, sales records, and order information. Ensure all data is accurate and compliant with company policies.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports for the sales team and management, tracking performance against targets, processing sales data, and assisting with forecasting.
- Invoicing & Payments: Generate invoices, track payment schedules, and coordinate with the accounts department to ensure timely invoicing and payment processing.
- Sales Coordination: Liaise with other departments, including logistics, accounts, and customer service, to ensure seamless sales operations and timely delivery of goods/services.
- Documentation: Maintain and organise sales documentation, such as contracts, quotes, and order forms. Ensure that all records are filed and accessible when needed.
- Communication: Communicate with clients and suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve any queries. Ensure all relevant parties are kept informed of order status and delivery times.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Utilise CRM systems to track customer interactions, follow up on sales leads, and manage opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to Detail: Strong organisational and data-entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with customers, the sales team, and other departments.
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
- IT Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), with experience in CRM systems and order management software.
- Team Player: Collaborative and supportive attitude towards colleagues and other departments.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently, ensuring smooth sales operations.
- Experience: Previous administrative or sales support experience is desirable but not essential. Training on specific systems and processes will be provided.
- Educational Requirements: A good standard of education, with a preference for candidates with A-levels or further qualifications in business or administration.
