Technology Director
A&O IT Group is looking for an ambitious Technology Director to lead the day-to-day technology function and drive the next phase of our digital transformation. This is a unique opportunity for someone who has built their career in strong technical roles – perhaps as a Senior Engineer, Technical Lead, Head of Engineering, or as a trusted deputy to a CTO/Technology Director – and is ready to step up and take ownership of the technology agenda.
You will be the primary party responsible for technology delivery, working under the strategic guidance and mentorship of the Non-Executive Director (Technology). You will lead a team of technology professionals across the UK, India and Kenya, and work closely with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to ensure technology continues to be a driver of business growth, operational excellence and client value.
This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic thinking must be matched by the ability to get into the detail when needed. You will also play a key role in Pre-Sales engagement with customers of both A&O IT Services and Corsaire businesses, and attend SLT meetings as the technology representative.
We have recently completed a significant 20-week business process automation programme delivering the A&O Business Hub – an end-to-end automation platform from customer onboarding through to quoting, billing and performance analysis. The successful candidate will inherit a strong technology foundation with modern platforms, established automation capabilities, and a committed team. The focus will be on embedding these capabilities, continuing to innovate, and ensuring technology empowers and enables the business.
